Welcome to the virtual version of our annual ‘Seed Swap’ event. Rather than our usual potluck gathering to trade seed packets, we’re giving away 100 mini packs in a safe, socially-distanced setting. Fill out this online form with your contact info, and select which free sample size packs you’d like (and a pick-up time!). Each mini seed packet has around 5 to 10 seeds – perfect for testing out varieties in a home garden, plus you’ll receive growing instructions too. Happy planting!

When is this virtual event happening? You can sign up online anytime between February 11th and March 7th – or until supplies last. Pick-up dates will be held at the Easton Public Market (325 Northampton Street, Easton PA 18042) on March 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 7th. Select which pickup date and time you’ll arrive and whether you’ll meet us inside at our info table, or if you’d like a contactless curbside pickup.

Who can sign up for free seeds? People new to gardening or long-time growers alike! All are welcome. We hope that City of Easton residents take advantage of our Seed Swap, but welcome anyone in the Lehigh Valley who wants to grow their own plants. Please, one order per household.

What kind of seeds are included? We have 4 variety packs available: Herbs (parsley, dill, basil), Early Spring Veggies (beets, collards or kale, radish, carrots), Flowers (zinnia, sunflower, milkweed), and Summer Favorites (cucumber, zucchini, melon, tomatoes, peppers). Choose all 4 packs, or mix and match.

Help! I’ve never grown plants from seeds before… Fear not! Easton Garden Works will be hosting virtual seed growing workshops on our Instagram, sharing blog posts, and all growing instructions for your seeds can be found on our Seed Library webpage.

Why can’t I fill out the online form? Don’t have a Google account and can’t access our form? Email gardens@eastonpartnership.org and we’ll sign you up.
