We’ll also plant the 2023 garlic crop which will be harvested for local pantries. DESCRIPTION:Earthday is *everyday* – but our celebration with Easton Urban Farm and City of Easton\, Urban Forestry is on Sunday\, April 24th (11:00 – 2:00) at our Lower Hackett community garden  Join us for pollinator and repurposing crafts\, gardening & compost tea demos\, seedling and seed give-aways\, site tours\, and more \n\n\n\nPAZA\, Tree of Life will also host special presentations on traditional Native American cultural and agricultural practices. Activity & educational tables will be popping up all over the Lower Hackett Park that day! SUMMARY:Early Spring Gardening Workshop
DESCRIPTION:Half Early Spring Gardening workshop (part of our “The More you Grow” series)\, and half volunteer day. Help us get our Lower Hackett garden prepped for the 2022 growing season\, and leave with some tips and tricks for getting yours started at home. \nWe’ll cover tilling\, seed starting\, cover cropping\, cold weather plants\, and more! Seed packets and small ~swag bags~ provided. We’ll cap attendance for a small group of 15 – please register by signing up on our March volunteer SignUpGenius link for March 19th\, 10:00 – 12:00. And hey\, if you want to sign up for other volunteer days while you’re there… we wouldn’t mind at all.
