SUMMARY:Peace & Light Night
DESCRIPTION:This will be the fourth year of this annual tradition of community luminaria for peace\, hope\, safe streets\, light. \nAll that you need to do is “light” around your home! “Luminaria” are easy to make\, and supplies are easy to get: a paper bag\, an electronic candle or tea light\, and some sand to weigh the bag down so it doesn’t blow away. We always have a “supply pick up” and will do that again for 2019. (December 1) Tea light candles stay lit for about two hours and are beautiful and simple. You can decorate the bags if you’d like! \nThe idea is really to take pause and think about our neighborhoods and what we hope to see. It might not be a huge\, expensive gesture\, but because it is simple and open to all- the message is something that anyone can be a part of.
