Black Lives Matter

Easton Garden Works, and our parent organization GEDP, support the crucial efforts towards racial equity in Easton and beyond. We stand with the Black community, and welcome all feedback to better serve our community gardeners and City.

The pain of this nation and our community caused by a history of systemic inequality and violence against people of color, cannot be ignored and must be addressed. The Greater Easton Development Partnership (GEDP) and its programs —  the Easton Ambassadors, Easton Main Street Initiative, Easton Public Market, Easton Garden Works, West Ward Easton Community Initiative, Easton Farmers’ Market, and our Special Events team — will work harder to provide spaces and opportunities for our entire community. We stand with and support all those striving for equality for everyone and we are committed to help bring about positive, lasting change. We are listening, we are learning and we are with you.
